Welcome to Tongolo Resort Beach. By confirming a booking, making payment, or visiting the property, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure clarity, safety, and a comfortable experience for all guests.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is payable upon arrival. Bookings are only guaranteed once payment has been received and acknowledged by our reservations team.
If you cancel less than 7 days before your scheduled arrival, the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee. For cancellations made earlier than 7 days, we will gladly refund your payment or credit it toward a future booking, subject to availability.
Check-in starts anytime upon arrival. Check-out is strictly by 10:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and must be arranged with the resort management prior to or during your stay.
Room rates include breakfast for all in-house guests unless otherwise stated. Prices are quoted in Uganda Shillings and may be subject to change without notice. Rates do not include additional services or experiences unless specified.
To maintain a peaceful environment for all visitors:
Smoking is not permitted indoors. Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided.
Quiet hours are upheld most of the time to preserve the peaceful lakeside atmosphere. Please note that the resort occasionally hosts private events that may involve extended entertainment.
No pets are allowed inside guest rooms, but small pets may be allowed in designated outdoor areas on a leash with prior written approval.
Alcohol is served at the resort bar and is permitted in designated outdoor areas and guest rooms.
Guests are responsible for their belongings; the resort is not liable for loss or damage to personal property.
Guests participate in all water and outdoor activities (such as swimming, boating, jet-skiing, or hiking) at their own risk. Life jackets are provided for water activities and must be worn at all times.
An adult must supervise children. The resort will not be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or property loss resulting from negligence or non-compliance with safety instructions.
For weddings, corporate retreats, and other private events, a 50% deposit confirms your reservation. The balance is due seven days before the event.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Our team can arrange complete event setups, including catering, décor, and entertainment.
Special discounted rates are available for extended stays upon request. Guests requesting specific dietary needs, such as Halal meals, must provide advance notice during the booking process. Additional housekeeping or laundry services may attract extra charges.
Tongolo Resort Beach operates in accordance with Ugandan hospitality standards but cannot accept liability for circumstances beyond its control, including weather conditions, natural events, or third-party service failures.
The laws of the Republic of Uganda govern these terms. Any disputes arising from a booking or stay at Tongolo Resort Beach shall be resolved under Ugandan jurisdiction.
